Bonduelle is a world leader in vegetable processing. It supplies both canned and frozen vegetable products.
Challenge
Every first working day of the month, the company generates reports and certificates for payments for services. The documents are then attached to the payments, which pass through currency control. Therefore, they must be created promptly and without errors.
Task
Reduce the number of errors when generating acts for currency control.
Solution
On the first day of a new month at 18:00 the robot is launched, and performs the following tasks:
- the robot takes a pre-formed template and according to the described logic fills it in and calculates the necessary parameters;
- the robot sends a notification to employees;
- if technical errors occur, the robot sends a letter to the responsible persons and waits for the problem to be solved;
- all data about the calculation and filling process are written to the data log.
Results
The implementation of the software robot reduced the time to complete the task from 1 hour to 3 minutes. RPA eliminated errors in document generation and, as a result, reduced possible risks related to currency control.
