Challenge
As in any manufacturing enterprise, the factory regulates the accounting of materials. This is a rather large amount of work, and the entire production cycle depends on its correctness. Prior to the introduction of the robot, the materials were entered by two people who processed them manually.
Task
Reduce the time spent by employees on entering basic fillable materials.
Solution
Automate the process of entering basic fillable materials:
- The robot accepts and automatically checks the BFMs in production according to a defined variant algorithm, including exception and deviation handling.
- The robot selects the BFM in the workflow system of the appropriate category and stage, checks the availability of the material and verifies the integrity of the data.
- The robot then escorts the BFM to a third-party system in SAP and notifies the status of BFM processing.
Results
One software robot replaced an operator who handled about 600 calls per month manually. The robot takes 1.5 times less time than an employee to process one request.

The robot frees up 20% of an employee's monthly routine tasks & frees up time for more important ones.
