Company
Sportmaster, a large sporting goods retail chain, has been on the market since 1992 and has more than 500 stores.
Challenge
Every day the company's accountants receive acquirers' reports for each specific branch of Sportmaster - they need to be checked and uploaded into the accounting system. The first day of the working week was the busiest for the accountants - they had to process all the reports received over the weekend.
Task
Reduce labor costs of accountants for processing acquirers' reports.
Solution
Implementation of PIX robot for collecting, processing and uploading acquirers' reports by branches to the accounting system:
- The robot processes each incoming report;
- The robot sends the report to the ERP or to the accountant for revision;
- Uploads the report to the Company's electronic archive.
Results
The average time of processing one report by the robot is 4.5 minutes. The robot functions 24/7 (including weekends and holidays) and processes all received reports until 12:00. Reports that do not pass the initial check by the robot are automatically sent to the accountant for additional verification, after which they are returned for further processing by route.
Client's opinion
The company's accountants positively responded to the introduction of the robot. RPA technology allows employees to free themselves from daily routine operations and switch to more important tasks.
Vadim Kharitonov, Head of Corporate Electronic Document Management and Business Process Management, Information Services Department, Sportmaster: "The implementation of the PIX RPA robot for processing acquirers' reports is our first step towards automation of routine operations of the Company's employees. Now we can already say that this project has been recognized as a success, it has reduced accountants' labor costs for manual operations and increased the efficiency of their work. At the moment we continue to actively develop automation of processes on the PIX RPA platform".
