Company
Ingosstrakh has been operating in the international market since 1947 and holds leading positions among insurance companies.
Challenge
One of Ingosstrakh's main business processes is direct reimbursement of losses, which requires several stages of checks and approvals. Before automation, this process was controlled by a team of 10 people.
Task
Reduce the time spent by employees on checking the correctness of data and free them up to make important decisions.
Solution
Implement a PIX robot to check the correctness of data and attached documents:
- The robot runs an OCR program that recognizes the text of scanned documents;
- The robot checks the amount in the certificate from the service station with the amount in the repair request;
- The robot checks the availability and quality of all attached documents;
- If the application does not pass the check by some criteria, the robot makes a written request and sends it to the responsible employee of the other insurance company and sends a copy to the responsible Ingosstrakh employee;
- If the process has passed without errors, the robot completes the processing of the application, indicating that no violations have been found.
Results
The robot at Ingosstrakh has been working for 2 years, processing several thousand applications per week, with about 70% of them not requiring human attention.
Automated checking of a large volume of documents without human intervention allowed not only to relieve the staff from routine work and switch them to other important tasks, but also to fundamentally increase the quantity and quality of the checks themselves.
Advantage of the PIX robot
The robot interacts with the systems about 10 times faster than a human and is able to process applications around the clock.
Client opinion
The goal of the project was achieved - the threshold value of automatic inspections without human intervention allowed not only to relieve the staff from routine work and switch them to other important tasks, but also to fundamentally increase the quantity and quality of the checks themselves.
